A market leading SaaS company in Aberdeen, is looking for a Senior Software Tester to join their team.
They are undergoing an exciting transformation as they move from desktop to web, their new application is due for launch in the new year and with the growth planned in the technology team, this is an amazing time to join and make your mark.
You will be a driving force for the automation, this is an opportunity to take control of the entire test function and lead the company into a modern delivery of QA.
Confidence is key in this role as you will be the sole Tester and the go to person for test queries, they will trust in your expertise to guide the team in the right direction and ensure a robust test strategy is maintained. As a Senior Tester, you will be responsible for expanding their automation capabilities across the business (with manual tasks being carried out throughout).
This is an especially exciting role as you will be given the autonomy to have a real impact in a software house and shape the test function how see fit.
Tech Stack & Skills
Ideally, you will have:
** They are a C#/.Net and Java house, but any experience with coding languages will be a bonus e.g. Python, JavaScript etc. - for the automation.
** 5 years of experience in QA (with 3 in automation)
** Prior experience with automation tools like Cypress and Playwright.
** Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies impacting testing
** Ability to deal with multiple activities in parallel and work in a high-pressure environment.
** Knowledge and experience of agile/waterfall methodologies.
Location and Benefits
The company are based in Aberdeen and operate remote-first, coming onsite for quarterly meetups, so you'd ideally attend those. In return they are offering a salary of £45,000 - £55,000, with a strong benefits package (including but not limited to private medical, life assurance & bonus).
This role does require you to have full rights to work within the UK and unfortunately cannot offer sponsorship.
