Azure Cloud Support Engineer

We are working with a leader in the UK Transport world looking to grow their team with the addition of an Azure Cloud Support Engineer.

You will be providing Azure system support along with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint support. Additionally, you will provide support to the inhouse data analysts through advice and guidance on data processing and software development using Anaconda and Visual Studio.

You will work extensively with the Technical Appraisal, Modelling and Economics team, providing analytics and bridging the gap between them and the further IT team.

This will be a collaboration heavy role that will see you exerting real influence on the processes and procedures of the organisations, working with both internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge and confidence in their abilities across the IT Support, System Administrator, Security and Data compliance space. You must be well versed in Microsoft Azure, VPN's, Virtual Machine Creation, Storage Accounts, Backup and Patch management along with experience of ITIL aligned Service Management Processes. Microsoft Office365, O365 Admin Centre and knowledge of server and application platforms is essential.

The role is hybrid, with a two day a week office commitment in their Manchester City Centre office. The pay range is set between £35,000 and £42,000, though there is scope for negotiation within this.
