Desktop Support Technician
Contract: 6 months
Rate: £215-230 per day
Location: Onsite in London
Inside IR35 via umbrella
A brand new support opportunity has opened to join one of Cathcart Technology's key clients.
Your main responsibility will be responding to and supporting any end users requests from within the company, as well as be on hand to support the overall network infrastructure. You will handle key tasks such as configurating IT hardware, dealing with end users first hand and troubleshooting any network connectivity issues. Essentially you will take end-to-end ownership of all IT tickets as well as all communication and overall technical resolution.
For this role you must come from a strong IT support background and have proven experience working as a Desktop Support Technician. You will also be able to demonstrate the ability to configurate, maintain and troubleshoot a range of IT hardware such as laptops, mobiles routers and switches. You will also have experience working with various software on Windows workstations as well as a variety of business applications.
Key Skills and Experiences:
** Solid IT Support background
** Experience working with various Microsoft applications
** Experience working with a range of IT hardware e.g., Laptops, Printers, Routers
** Mange end user requests and act as the first POC
