ERP Business Analyst required for a growing manufacturing business across the central belt of Scotland.
The company:
They are a well-known manufacturing company based in Fife, and have grown from 900 employees to over 1700 in the last few years. This growth has come through a combination of headcount, as well as acquisitions of up to 11 new businesses. They are a family-owned business and have set targets to grow and improve the company.
There are currently 13 people across the IT team and you will be working in the ERP/Business Systems team. The team is scattered across the UK and that means the role can be fairly flexible - ideally hybrid but they could look at more remote (if you are based in the central belt/maybe even up to Aberdeenshire). There are no number of set days to be in the office. Additionally, the role offers a very generous bonus scheme that is very often paid out in full.
The role:
You will be an Analyst with a strong ERP background (what ERP does not greatly matter). You will play a big part in helping to bring the newly acquired companies into the business and to help integrate the IT Systems (mainly ERP). The core ERP is Epicor, but they also use IFS. The flexibility on ERP is because they may implement a new ERP system and you would again play a part in this implementation. This may be IFS, Epicor, Microsoft Dynamics, JDE etc.
On top of this, it would be handy if you had some minor technical skills - this would ideally be some SQL or T-SQL skills. Nothing too adventurous. On top of the ERP work, there may also be some potential CRM work longer term. With how busy they are across the organisation, there are plenty of projects to work on.
Key Skills and Experience:
** ERP or MRP systems knowledge - from a Business Analyst and implementation background (Epicor, IFS, Dynamics, JDE etc)
** Ideally an understanding of MS SQL Server and/or Transact-SQL (T-SQL)
** Strong stakeholder management skills
** Experience with requirements gathering and use case analysis
** The ability to manage multiple projects of varying size and complexity concurrently
** Experienced in Supply Chain / Manufacturing (desirable)
** Experience with Power BI/Crystal Reports/SSRS (beneficial)
Role responsibilities:
** Participate as a project lead or team member in Business Systems IT projects
** Develop positive customer relationships which make it possible to influence change while collaborating in defining and implementing business focussed IT solutions
** Work with the business to assess current business processes and recommend best practices and define innovative solutions
** Interact with business end user community to understand a specific need, document new functional /technical requirements and work with other IT team members to implement solutions
** Design, develop, implement, and maintain business application software solutions
This is an opportunity to work for a business who are growing and thriving in the current marketplace, with excellent benefits and opportunities to boot.
