A rapidly growing MedTech organisation based out of Edinburgh are looking for two Junior Software Engineers to join a couple of their Agile squads. You'd be working on a Market leading product within a really strong technical environment - remote or hybrid working on offer!
The company have been running successfully now for over ten years and have been going through a really exciting period of growth. Over the past few years they've grown from about 40 heads to just over 100. They operate in the tech-for-good software space and are responsible for creating a very specific product which is used widely in the healthcare industry.
They're ideally looking for a Software Engineer with a couple years of commercial experience using the .Net framework to join their product focused squads. In each team, you'd find yourself working alongside roughly four Software Engineers, QA / Automation Engineer and a Tech Lead. You'll be given plenty of support and training in the role, but they're really looking for an ambitious and curious Engineer that's willing to attempt to tackle problems, ask questions and most importantly ask for help when needed.
You'll find yourself working heavily with the .Net framework, so ideally you'd have good prior experience with this language. A large chunk of the work will involve refactoring, as they're planning to break up some of the product into smaller parts - something you'll actively be involved within. The company have many exciting projects planned ahead, including a big move to a cloud native environment.
The organisation place a really big important on promoting best practices and following software fundamentals so they're ideally looking for someone that has worked in this kind of environment more.
You'll ideally have experience in most of the following;
** Commercial programming experience with the .Net Framework (C # / ASP.Net)
** Databases
** Software Testing
The following experience is highly desirable;
** Microservices
** Working with a MedTech environment
** Working within a product environment
This role would really suit an ambitious Software Engineer that's looking to join a strong technical environment within a well-established yet growing UK-based Tech Organisation.
Their offices are based in central Edinburgh where they accommodate both remote and hybrid working (your choice!) however, they do hope people can pop in for the big meetings and quarterly planning sessions.
In return they're able to offer a salary from £28k to £38k for this one, with a good benefits package to match.
