Growing tech-company that are undergoing a large digital transformation are looking for a skilled .Net Developer to join their ranks and help upgrade their core platform. You will work with a list of modern technologies, have real input into company decisions within a company that really put their employees first.
They have developed a niche platform which is currently unrivalled for its function, however they are in the middle of upgrading this with a whole host of modern tools & technology. Longer term they plan to introduce multiple new features to help take it to the next level - all of which you will be involved within in.
They are ideally looking for a collaborative Senior Developer with solid experience across the .Net framework - as your first task will be getting to grips with their current product and then helping the team modernise the platform (Ideally similar migration experience would be handy for this role). The team are also updating the front-end too - so you will ideally have good knowledge of JavaScript libraries and front-end related tools (preferably React).
You'll be joining a multidisciplined team that currently sits at 7 strong and you will be joining as the 4th Developer. They have experienced stable growth over the past couple of years due to their steady flow of new customers. The team have some really exciting plans for the next several years as they will start to investigate applicable functions for the product in relation to; AI, Machine Learning & Data - all things you will be heavily involved within.
You'll ideally have experience with the following;
** Several years with the .Net framework (C# & MVC)
** SQL Server
** Front-end technologies (HTML, CCS & JavaScript Libraries)
** Working in an Agile Environment
** Strong communication skills & ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Experience with the following is highly desirable:
** Microsoft Azure
** Modern JavaScript Libraries (Angular or React).
** Modernising legacy platforms to a modern stack (ideally Microsoft based)
The company are based in the West Side of Glasgow, with parking available on site. However, they work largely remotely, with the team heading into the office every Tuesday and working from home for the rest of the week.
In return they are offering a salary of up to £70k with benefits and a massive opportunity to upskill and to get involved in a large-scale project within a small team and where you have the chance to really make it your own.
