Well-established SaaS Organisation in Aberdeen (can offer 100% Remote working) are looking for a skilled Full Stack Java Developer to join their core web-app team - can provide sponsorship.
They've been running now for over 20 years and work with an array of really high-profile clients across the globe - their products are very highly rated and used by thousands of users on a daily basis. Their products are largely used to help improve efficiency and safety within medium to large-scale businesses.
Over the past year or so they've been going through a period of scaling and modernising their product - something you'll be heavily involved with if you came onboard. They're ideally looking for someone that will be able to offer suggestions on how to improve current processes and tech - a proactive Developer that want's their voice to be heard.
Their current Development team sits at six strong, with both Web and Mobile Devs - they're a close-knit bunch and are looking for someone that enjoys working in a collaborative manner and is able to speak up. The product is written in Java8, they largely use Hibernate for their framework and it's hosted in AWS. The front-end is written in Angular, but they've already started to move it across to ReactJS. Additionally, they've implemented Automation Testing and are looking into DevOps tools - so they have plenty of work to keep everyone busy, not to mention the new feature requests they are constantly working through.
You'll ideally have experience with most of the following;
** Java8+
** Working with Java Frameworks (Spring, Hibernate or Strut)
** Databases (ideally SQL)
** Working in the front-end; HTML, CSS and JavaScript (bonus points for ReactJS / TypeScript)
The following experience is highly desirable;
** DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform)
** Working in a Product Environment
** Automated Testing
They're based in central Aberdeen but the work can be done 100% remotely from anywhere in the UK. They do hope people can ideally pop in twice a year for their big wash-ups but can be flex on this too.
In return they're able to offer a salary of £40k to £55k + Benefits. They're also able to offer Visa Sponsorship too for stand-out candidates.
