A market leading tech organisation based in Aberdeen is looking for a skilled Software Tester to join their growing team - genuinely interesting project work and modern tech on offer!
They've been going over 5 years now and have signed up an impressive list of clients, they develop safety critical software used throughout the UK on a daily basis and they're really making a name for themselves.
Their current team is circa 10 strong and have big expansion plans in mind for the next few years, now is an exciting time to join and get ahead.
What will you be doing?
As the Software Tester you will be collaborating with the Engineers and Software Developers, helping to ensure efficiency throughout the projects. Performing end-to-end test cases and overall implementing higher quality throughout the software development lifecycle for all teams.
As you get to grips with the systems, this role will start out manual-focussed, working closely with the Test Manager to further develop the test function through integration and system testing for a variety of new projects.
The company are looking to automate as much as possible so you will be driving the automation forward for the team, setting up the automated test suites.
Due to the nature of their work, they have strict guidelines and strongly adhere to best practices on design, documentation, and testing. Engineers that embody these practices would fit in really well.
You'll ideally have experience with most of the following:
* Manual Testing (Integration & System Testing)
* Automated Testing (C#, .Net would be preferrable but not essential)
* ISTQB qualification is desirable but not essential
Location and benefits:
Their offices are based just outside of central Aberdeen, but really accessible by car or public transport. Because of the nature of the projects, the ideal fit would live in a commutable distance that's happy to work onsite five days per week.
In return, they're able to offer a salary of circa £45k depending on experience + great benefits.
