AI adoption increases jobs?!

More than half of Scottish companies plan to increase their AI investment according to the latest Bank of Scotland business barometer. But by how much? ££££
The report stated that 54% of companies in Scotland will increase their AI investment.
Of the companies increasing their investment 34% said they will spend in the £25,000 to £100,00 bracket. 29 will spend between £100,000 and £250,000.
If you are a patriotic Scot (this author is!) and you are an AI fan, you’ll be disappointed to hear that of the companies surveyed, only 48% of Scotland’s companies currently use AI, compared with 61% UK wide.

Most interestingly, and turning to recruitment, whether you are pro-AI or not, 38% of the Scottish respondents who have started using AI have said it has INCREASED jobs in their business (against 54% UK-wide!).

37% of companies said that they don’t have the skills in their existing workforce to allow effective AI adoption, let’s assume that’s what’s driving the growth. That’s where Cathcart Technology comes in!…
