IT Business Analyst required for a globally known organisation, based out of Fife.
The company and role:
They are a growing business with a truly worldwide reach. Based from Fife, the role will be part time office based and part time remote (3/2 split). You will joining a senior Business Analyst in the team and will work across the group and will be working alongside the current business analysis provider to move things further in-house.
They operate across several countries and are in the process of reviewing all of the business services offerings. This role is sitting within the IT function and you will be an experienced Business Analyst, ideally with experience of successful project delivery across a global, professional organisation. Working closely alongside the software team, you will need to be comfortable across both Agile and Waterfall delivery - they use a combination of the two.
The company are recruiting for this role as currently the majority of their BA activities are outsourced and they wish to start to build an internal team, due to company strategy. You will be working alongside third parties going forward still and will have a lot of client interaction. The business is going through a transformation of modernising their sport and making sure it is accessible for all backgrounds. You will be a key point of contact for the IT department and a number of other areas across the organisation.
Key Skills and Experience:
** Strong Business Analyst background with Agile and Waterfall delivery across software and IT
** Experience of providing a business analysis service across the full lifecycle of projects - including pre and post project activity
** Experience of working with third parties
** Strong Gap Analysis and requirements gathering background
** Lead workshops, interviews, shadowing, etc. with appropriate stakeholders, some of which may be in a different geographical location and/or time zone to yourself
** Capturing of As-Is processes along with all interfaces, controls, inputs, outputs and costs
** Capture and documentation of requirements (business, functional and non-functional, data, etc.) using programme defined templates and co-ordinating review and sign-off
** Experience of gathering and managing technical details and requirements
** Able to learn and understand current business processes and help to model new processes/ procedures
