Senior Test Engineer - 6-month contract - for a company in Edinburgh.

This role offers £400 - £500 per day, and you will be required to work through an approved umbrella provider. You will need to be local to the Edinburgh area, as the team are keen to get someone in the office a couple of times a month.

You'll be a skilled Test Engineer with a focus on automation testing using C# (and Cucumber, ideally!). Based in an Agile team as the sole QA in the team, you'll be working closely with the Developers, carrying out a variety of browser testing, UI testing and API testing.

The company create renowned investment products - some of which are in beta testing with a couple of clients and in a critical stage before becoming a fully-fledged programme later in the year.

There's a huge emphasis on the cloud (Azure) and data within this organisation, so any experience with tools/technologies like Azure, C# or Ruby for API manipulation would be an advantage!

You'll have most of the following skills/experience:

**C# or Ruby for test automation - Cucumber, BDD,

**An ability to create automation test frameworks would be a bonus

**Experience in a Microsoft environment - .NET Core

**Azure

**API testing, UI testing

There is a strong chance that this role will be extended for a further twelve months (so an 18-month contract altogether).
