A well-established SaaS organisation in Leeds is looking for a fresh thinking JavaScript Developer to join their core Development team. They've been running for over 30 years and work with an array of glamorous bars and hotels and are now branching out in a new way of gaining loyal customers. The product is largely focused on chat services and is developing from a website into an SMS service, they are a UK and Australia market leader and hoping to expand globally and through multiple target markets.
Who am I?
You will be working on this bespoke product to find ways to individualise it and keep it ahead of the trends. The product is Java in the back end and written in JavaScript in the front. You will have some commercial experience with CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and REST APIs, and it would be great if you had knowledge of Responsive Design, Vue.js and Version control through Github.
What will I be doing?
Working with the tight-knit team to create, monitor and maintain new features for customers, find ways to expand the services on the website and develop your skillset into app development. They have been scaling and modernising their product for the past year or so; if you joined, you would play a significant role in this process. They're preferably searching for a proactive Developer that wants their voice to be heard and can recommend ways to improve current procedures and technology. This is a great opportunity for a JavaScript Developer looking to put their stamp on a project and innovate new ways to individualise customer experiences.
What is the company like?
The company are an inclusivity champion and own several establishments across the North of England. They are welcoming a JavaScript Developer who's happy to get hands-on and launch this product into a global market. Many of the company's employees have stayed with the company for years. Although they are small, they are mighty!
Who will I be working with?
You will be working with and reporting to the Senior Developer who built the product from scratch and the company's Managing Director. The company has a several different departments and looking to expand their development team, starting with you!
Salary/Perks/Benefits
Salary-wise, it's between £30,000-£40,000 dependant on experience. They offer a generous benefits package including employee discounts across all their venues. The company often have team cohesion events and they can offer a hybrid working pattern and flexible working hours and they are based in central Leeds with free parking.
