A cutting edge start up in Glasgow that specialise in developing software tools that have revolutionised scientific research are looking for a couple skilled Python Developers (Mid/Senior) to join their exciting new team.

The company was founded in the last couple of years and they have since grown the team to around 25 employees, with hopes to double this by the end of this year. Their products aim to streamline the research process and aid development by leveraging their knowledge of machine learning algorithms and artificial intelligence.

You'll work heavily with Python so ideally; you'll have a few years of commercial experience with this language. You will play a crucial role in the design, development and maintenance of the company's software tools, working alongside a talented team of developers, chemists, engineers, and data scientists.

The Senior Engineer will be expected to bring a few years of experience working in a similar level position. You will be expected to lead the design and architecture of the company's software systems whilst mentoring and leading their team of developers to deliver their high-quality products. For this role they are looking for exposure to containers and deployment technologies such as Kubernetes. This isn't a requirement for the mid-level position (but it will definitely make you stand out if you have exposure to these!)

They're based in Glasgow and are hoping you can visit the office at least twice a week, but there is some flex on this. Salaries range from £40k to £70k depending on ability and experience.
