SAP AMS Manager
Location - Aberdeenshire (Hybrid)
Salary - circa £70,000 (Initial 1 year FTC)
Overview
We're working with a multinational company in the energy space to help them find a SAP AMS Manager. You'd be joining as a leader in this SAP team, a team who are responsible for their 5,000 SAP who all span across the globe. They're a very forward-thinking team, they were one of the first companies in the world to migrate SAP to the cloud. Their offices are based just outside of Aberdeen and you'd be expected to come into the office on a hybrid basis.
You'll be responsible for overseeing a dedicated group of specialists managing support for the SAP ECC6 application. Your role will involve ensuring the system's integrity, executing projects, and contributing to the upcoming S/4 HANA implementation project from the ECC6 perspective.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and guide the global SAP and Business Application team, delivering support across locations worldwide.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align with the overall business strategy.
- Uphold the integrity of development, test, and production environments associated with each application.
- Actively participate in system audits and manage routine system monitoring.
Desireable Skills
- Strong leadership experience.
- Experience in application deployment in a cloud environment.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Proven experience in creating and maintaining documentation, such as technical/development specifications, configuration rationale, and test cases.
- Full SAP project lifecycle implementation experience.
The role is initially a one-year fixed term contract but there is potentially scope for this to be extended. The company have an excellent cultural as well as technical environment, since they have an excellent Glassdoor rating and are often lauded for learning/progression and flexibility.
