Senior Network Engineer

12 Month contract with view to extend another 12 months

Edinburgh

£550 per day Inside IR35

One of Cathcart Technology's key clients are in need of an experienced Network Specialist to join the team. You'll be handlng both project-based and operational work as they tackle a large Data Center move.

Candidates must be mobile to be onsite in and around Edinburgh. This role offers a hybrid structure with 3-4 days onsite, though there will be plenty of flexibility for the duration.

Skills & Experience:

** Strong experience and knowledge within network technologies

** Strong knowledge and experience with Cisco & Palo Alto

** Extensive experience with LAN/WAN, Firewalls, configuration, and maintenance

** Experience working within ITIL, Prince2 or equivalent

** DevOps knowledge/experience

** Azure or other cloud based technology

Beneficial:

** CCNA certifications

** Experience working in the Higher Education sector

** Cisco DNAC configuration and maintenance

** Palo Alto PCNSA or equivalent working experience
