Highly successful Med-Tech organisation, with a name known around the world, are looking for an ambitious Software Engineer (ideally with prior knowledge of C++) to join one of their core engineering squads - hybrid in Edinburgh or remote working in UK on offer.

They've been operating for 20+ years now, and work on a global scale - their products are used in a lot of medical / healthcare settings. They describe themselves as a really innovative organisation, as they're continually looking for new ways to improve and extend their offerings - this squad also gets involved in some prototyping projects.

The squad has circa five Software Engineers, that's really rich with commercial experience, and they work in a really interesting product function within the organisation. They've currently got two main products they largely focus on; a large-scale C++ product and a brand-new web-based product written in TypeScript. You'll find yourself working on both of these - so they're looking for someone that is happy to pick up the tech needed.

You'll ideally have experience with most of the following;

** C++ (non-embedded)

** JavaScript / TypeScript

** Working in a Windows or Linux environment

Experience with the following is highly desirable;

** Modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular, ReactJS or VueJS)

** Docker

** Experience working in an R&D Setting

They've got a great reputation within the industry and are known for really looking after their employees which is highlighted with their incredibly strong retention rate. Short stints are highly unusual here as many Engineers have been with the business for 5 to 20 years.

Their office is based in central Edinburgh, and they support both Hybrid and fully remote working (from within the UK) - they're also happy to discuss flexible working too. The squad do occasional meetups every couple of months for team building (also optional).

In return they're able to offer a salary from £30k to £50k (could be scope for more if someone impressed) on top of a fairly competitive benefits package.
