Brand new opportunity for a Hardware & Software Tester to join a massively expanding environmental start-up.
The company
They use radio waves to wirelessly transmit data in harsh underwater environments - they are driving the digital transformation of the ocean industry. It's an exciting opportunity to contribute to a team that is helping to accelerate sustainable development across the globe!
The role
On a day-to-day basis you will be expected to work alongside the mechanical, hardware and software engineers helping to define and develop the testing function.
You'll be someone who is a strong and confident communicator who is able to champion the processes necessary to validate the various tools to a high standard. You'll also be someone who has a varied skillset in multiple areas of test.
You will most likely have the following skills and experience:
**Firmware and hardware testing experience
**Software testing experience
**Jira
**Experience with 6 Sigma/Agile/Scrum/LEAN processes
**C#/Labview (either being desirable)
Salary and Location
The company are offering a salary of up to £51,000, and offer an incredibly strong benefits package, with all the usual perks and more.
Right now, the team come into the office 3 days out of the week and plan to for the foreseeable future so someone fairly local to Livingston would be an ideal candidate (happy to chat about home-working options).
