I'm currently helping my client to find an experienced Test Automation Engineer for their long-term project in the manufacturing industry.
Company
You'd be employed by a small Finnish tech consultancy that was established in 2017. They employ various senior-level tech experts, including developers, testers and project managers. Their company culture is very flat, and they encourage all their employees to voice their ideas and opinions.
The consultancy is specialised in challenging long-term projects that typically focus on building something new - they don't want to send their consultants to just do boring legacy work! They have offices in Helsinki and Tampere, but you'd typically work at the end-client's site (or remote / hybrid depending on their preference).
Job Description
You'd join a project in the manufacturing industry. It's for a very well-known and big international company that has a large office in Hyvinkää. They hope that you could visit their office once or twice a week. The site is easily reachable by both public transport and car.
In this position, you’d work with…
- Robot Framework and Python
- Jenkins
- Groovy, Ph scripting
- Vscode
- Git, Jira
- Ansible, Confluence
- Agile methods
It’d be great if you have experience in most of the above. However, experience in Robot Framework and Python (3+ years) is the most important thing. It’s also a huge bonus if you have worked in the machine building industry before.
You'd be employed on a permanent contract. This would be a long-term project with no end date in sight. We hope that you’d be able to start rather soon, ideally at the end of April / beginning of May.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is likely to be around 5000-6000e, depending on your previous experience. It's a fixed monthly salary, meaning you don't need to worry about your billings affecting your income.
The benefits package includes e.g. comprehensive occupational health care and lunch, sports and culture vouchers
Next steps
The deadline for applications is on 11.4.2024.

Please note that although Finnish language skills aren't required for this position, you must be located in Finland with a valid work permit at the time of applying.
