The role
This role is brand new to the company, you'll be working with the wider mechanical team, but independence will be a large part of your day-to-day.
Carrying out in depth testing on network and communication products and creating validation plans. You will be reporting back and collaborating with the mechanical team to ensure a seamless release to market; whilst taking direct ownership of product solutions on a daily basis.
With the growth planned, this role would give you the opportunity to lead and design a team of engineers how you see fit further down the line.
You will most likely have the following skills and experience:
** Significant experience working within an electronic or optoelectronic environment
** Strong knowledge of Optoelectronics, Software and Hardware
** Experience carrying out evaluation and characterisation
** Ability to create validation plans
** System-level testing
** Strong evaluation and characterisation experience
Salary and Location
The company are offering a salary of circa £75,000 and offer an incredibly strong benefits package, with all the usual perks plus a 4-day working week!
Right now, the team are working from a hybrid working model, only coming in 2 days a week - with their office based in Leith.
