One of Scotland's largest car dealerships are looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join their site in Inverness.
They have been operating successfully for over 40 years now and have built up a leading brand with a number of dealerships located across both Scotland and England.
They are currently in the market for an IT Support Engineer to assist with their IT function in the Inverness region, and are looking for someone to start ASAP.
The role will cover all aspects of IT ranging from 1st Line up to 3rd Line and involves a mixture of hardware and software requirements. Some of the main responsibilities include providing 1st - 3rd line support to end users on-site, remotely and by telephone; providing both hardware and software support; troubleshooting desktop, server and network issues; and carrying out occasional project work like upgrades or migrations.
You will ideally have commercial experience in an IT Support environment with exposure to most of the requirements below:
- Experience of providing IT support to end users in Windows, Office, and desktop software and hardware.
- Working with Windows System Administration (Windows Server 2022, Windows 10/11).
- Networking hardware administration (Cisco/Meraki & HP ProCurve).
- Working with VoIP (Mitel).
- Hardware maintenance (Dell - Servers/Desktops, HP/Lexmark - Printers.
Their offices are based in central Inverness, and this is an office-based role where you'll be expected to be onsite five days a week. Additionally, you'll be responsible for occasionally visiting other local sites - so you'll ideally have access to your own car.
They're able to offer a salary of £25k - £30k, dependant on experience, and they're also able to help candidates upskill for this role too if needed.
