I'm helping one of my clients to find a Technical Business Analyst to join their growing team in Finland. The company specializes in software development for laboratories, focusing on Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), and is dedicated to expanding its expertise locally in Espoo.

In this role, you will collaborate with companies across industries such as pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, and food and beverage to tailor software solutions that support their vital work. These enterprise-level solutions ensure that clients maintain the highest quality standards, thorough documentation, and compliance with international regulations.

Position Overview

This role is perfect for someone with a strong foundation working within a software development team and a proven history of working in client-facing roles. Acting as the link between clients and technical teams, you will analyse client needs, prioritize workload, and become a true product expert. You will advise clients on business requirements and customize software solutions that ensure quality, compliance with international standards, and operational efficiency. Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) is highly valued, and prior experience in project management or team leadership is a strong advantage!

You will be part of a local team based in Espoo, where Finnish serves as the primary working language. The company embraces a flexible hybrid work model, with occasional travel within the Nordics for client visits, such as system configurations, depending on project requirements. The work will be project-based, offering variety and opportunities to engage in diverse client needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse client needs, identify problems, and implement effective solutions
• Act as the key communication point between clients and technical teams
• Independently seek information to optimize workflows and solutions
• Customize and configure enterprise-level software solutions
• Ensure solutions are efficient, high-quality, and compliant with international standards
• Organize and prioritize tasks to ensure project deadlines are met, while actively contributing to project planning and coordination

What They’re Looking For

We are seeking candidates with the following key experience and skills;

• Proven experience working directly with clients in a customer-facing capacity
• Some experience in configuration, programming, and application development, preferably with Java and SQL
• Hands-on experience with databases
• Solid experience contributing to customer projects and taking initiative to lead your own project load
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain excellent problem-solving capabilities
• Fluent in Finnish and English, and proficiency in Swedish is a significant advantage
